ROOFLINES
Swift Unlimited offers 2.5m mono-pitched studios that meet Permitted Development rules. Where greater headroom is needed—for large canvases, equipment, or lighting rigs—they design taller buildings and manage the planning approval as part of their turnkey service.
They also create pitched roof studios, finished with tiles to complement your home, while giving a vaulted ceiling inside for a bright, spacious feel.
APPROVAL PROCESS
Swift Unlimited designs with Permitted Development in mind where possible, but also manages full planning applications for taller or pitched roof designs. Their turnkey service includes liaison with Building Control for projects requiring sign-off.
SERVICE
A comprehensive turnkey service covers everything from foundations and service trenching to final electrical and plumbing connections. They also manage data cabling and internet setup so your studio is fully operational as the installation team leaves site.
STRUCTURE
Studios are built with SIPs for strength and thermal efficiency, providing a stable environment to protect both materials and finished work year-round. Mono-pitched designs use a single-piece EPDM roof, with the option of a Sedum living roof. Pitched roofs can be finished with tiles of your choice. Heating and cooling options, including underfloor heating and air conditioning, are available for year-round comfort.
SITE CHALLENGES
Swift Unlimited is experienced in working with sloping or irregular plots, using ground screw foundations and bespoke layouts to create level, functional buildings. They are also experienced in completing projects with difficult access, planning deliveries and installation carefully to suit each site. The team works sensitively around trees and Tree Preservation Orders, ensuring buildings fit harmoniously within established gardens.
