Exterior finishes include timber, composite, render, or stone, while interiors are plastered and decorated to a high standard. Flooring, lighting, and temperature control are all specified for year-round comfort. Saunas, shower rooms, or entertainment zones can be incorporated, and acoustic treatments are available where a quieter environment is preferred.
Size & Layouts
Swift Unlimited designs buildings of all sizes, from compact one-room gyms to larger multi-room wellness spaces. Layouts can include changing areas, saunas, or shower facilities, with the option to create zones for specific activities or relaxation. Door and window positions are fully adaptable to optimise daylight and airflow. Where needed, reinforced sections of the structure can accommodate wall or ceiling-mounted equipment, such as pull-up bars, suspension systems, or projector mounts for golf simulators.
ROOFLINES
Swift Unlimited offers both mono-pitched and pitched roof designs. Mono-pitched models can comply with Permitted Development height limits or be built taller to increase usable height – with the planning approval. Pitched roof designs provide vaulted ceilings, creating open, spacious interiors that are ideal for exercise or golf simulation. Roof finishes range from durable EPDM membranes to tiled coverings that complement surrounding architecture.
APPROVAL PROCESS
Swift Unlimited is experienced in handling the planning process for taller or more complex designs. Their turnkey approach includes preparing and managing planning applications and coordinating Building Regulation compliance for plumbing, structural reinforcements, and other technical elements.
SERVICE
Swift Unlimited provides a full turnkey service, including design, foundations, groundworks, and final connections. STRUCTURE
All buildings are constructed with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), a durable and highly thermally efficient system ideal for garden gyms. The structure can be reinforced internally to support mounted fitness equipment or ceiling-hung systems such as TRX rigs. Pitched roofs can be tiled for a traditional look, while mono-pitched versions use continuous EPDM coverings. Interiors are plastered and decorated, with heating, cooling, and ventilation tailored to maintain optimal comfort year-round.
SITE CHALLENGES
Swift Unlimited is experienced in working with sloping or irregular plots, using ground screw foundations and bespoke layouts to create level, functional buildings. They are also experienced in completing projects with difficult access, planning deliveries and installation carefully to suit each site. The team works sensitively around trees and Tree Preservation Orders, ensuring buildings fit harmoniously within established gardens.
